I’ve been working a warehouse job for the past few months. Although it’s not what I want to be doing It has been good for me. It has given me a chance to get to a point where I would feel comfortable going into ministry.
At the place that I work they allow us to listen to our iPods. for a while I listened to music but it made the day crawl by. So I decided to listen to sermons and lectures. I have become a lot more certain of what I believe and more confidant in my abilities in Christ.
It’s been great to be able to look back and seehow God has taken this thing that has bothered me and seemed like a burden and turned into something that has helped me to become more like Christ.
Awesome idea Jared! I wanted to give you a link here to our Christian Radio Station web site and under Listening Room, they give the various programs they have on the radio. Some of these sites give Ipod opportunities. I know you have your own avenues for this, but thought I’d add another to the mix.

By the time I finally got an iPod, the Internet Monk was about 30 episodes into his podcast. I downloaded them all, and decided listened to one or two a day trying to catch up. A 30 minute walk on the treadmill just fits an iMonk talk nicely. Listening to sermons, lectures and talks during the week is definitely good for the soul.
Who knew what you would get… several months later.
